After months of waiting, we finally have a meaningful signal that the Department of Labor has a proposal for the revisions to the white collar exemptions. The document was sent to the Office of Management and Budget’s Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs where it will receive final scrutiny before being made public in a formal notice of proposed rule making. I will be submitting comments as I did 11 years ago, addressing issues once again that concerned me when I testified before Congress in 2004.
